Joshua S. Benner, PharmD, ScD
Josh Benner is the Founder of RxAnte, a provider of science-based information technology solutions for improving quality and lowering the cost of health care. The RxAnte Solution™ helps health care organizations improve medication adherence objectively and efficiently by applying proprietary predictive analytics and decision analytics to ensure the right patient gets the right intervention at the right time. The company’s analytic technology was previously incubated at Crimson Health, LLC. In August 2014, Josh was named the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for RxAnte’s parent company, Millennium Health.
A leading voice on medication adherence, Dr. Benner’s award-winning research and numerous publications have shed new light on the problem of nonadherence and identified promising approaches to improving it. Prior to RxAnte, Dr. Benner was Fellow and Managing Director at the Brookings Institution’s Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform, where he focused on medical technology policy. Prior to Brookings, Dr. Benner was principal at ValueMedics Research, an analytic and consulting services firm. Following the successful sale of ValueMedics to IMS Health in 2007, he served as senior principal in health economics and outcomes research and global lead for medication adherence at IMS. Dr. Benner received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University and his Doctor of Science in health policy and management from the Harvard University School of Public Health. He remains a Visiting Scholar in Economic Studies at Brookings, and is an adjunct scholar in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Aaron McKethan, PhD
Aaron McKethan is the President of RxAnte, a role he took on in August 2014. Previously, Aaron served for three years as SVP for Strategy and Business Development at RxAnte. His areas of expertise include provider payment, quality improvement, and health IT. Before joining RxAnte, Dr. McKethan was Director of the Beacon Community program, a $250 million federal health IT demonstration project at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT in the Department of Health and Human Services. Previously, he served as a Research Director for the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, where he focused on new payment models designed to lower per-capita costs and improve health-care outcomes. Dr. McKethan earned Bachelor of Arts and PhD degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is currently Assistant Adjunct Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. He is also a visiting scholar at the Brookings Institution.
Peter Aldrich, MBA
Pete Aldrich is the Chief Operating Officer at RxAnte, a role he took on in August 2014. Previously, Pete served as Senior Vice President, Product and Program Management for RxAnte. As COO, Pete is responsible for providing interdisciplinary leadership across the organization, including information services, finance, legal & compliance, human resources and other functions related to both the day to day operations of the organization as well as longer term strategy. Mr. Aldrich brings over ten years of experience in Healthcare IT and his areas of expertise include strategy and planning, product management, operations management, process engineering and organizational development. Before joining RxAnte, Mr. Aldrich was Vice President, Program Strategy and IT Operations for Health Dialog, responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of several departments within the firm as well as managing the overall program portfolio. Prior to that, he held senior positions with Fidelity Investments with responsibility for large-scale implementations of multi-product client programs. Mr. Aldrich received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin Pierce College.
Loren Lidsky, MS
Loren Lidsky is Senior Vice President, Advanced Analytics of RxAnte. Before joining RxAnte, Mr. Lidsky was Director of Advanced Analytics at IMS Health and PharMetrics where he led a large, highly-skilled, analytic, statistical and development group, responsible for study design, programming, statistical analysis, quality control, and reporting for all custom analytic projects conducted for the pharmaceutical and managed care industries utilizing the health plan data asset. Mr. Lidsky also led development and implementation of processes, tools and algorithms to increase programming quality and efficiency. Prior to joining PharMetrics, Mr. Lidsky served as a consultant programmer on numerous outcomes research and health-economic studies for Policy Analysis Inc., led a technical operations group at the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation, and was a systems and budget specialist on the Medicaid program for the Massachusetts Department of Public Welfare. Mr. Lidsky holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is also currently an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Kimball Lewis, MPA
Kimball Lewis is Vice President of Information Systems for RxAnte. His area of expertise is in developing flexible and scalable data analytics systems to solve problems for leading healthcare, education, and public policy research firms. Prior to joining RxAnte, Mr. Lewis served as a Senior Manager and Director at Health Dialog, where he designed systems and led data processing and analytic teams responsible for the monthly intake, standardization, and analysis of healthcare claims and administrative data for over 40 health plans and 30 million covered lives. Previously, he held positions in public policy and healthcare research, analytics, and systems development at PharMetrics, Harvard Business School, and Mathematica Policy Research. Mr. Lewis earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration and Policy degrees from Cornell University.
Paul Tuten, PhD, MS
Paul Tuten is Vice President, Product Development and Management at RxAnte. For the past two years, Paul served as a Senior Consultant to the State HIE Program at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). He continues to serve as an advisor to ONC, as well as the leader of the Direct Project’s Implementation Geographies Workgroup. Paul has nearly 20 years of experience in information systems, including an intensive focus on its application to solve administrative and clinical health information technology challenges. During his career, he has held a number of technical and management roles at industry-leading firms, such as IBM and AT&T. More recently, Paul served as a Vice President of ABILITY Network, leading the Business Strategy and Product Management functions. He also occasionally teaches graduate-level courses in health informatics and serves on doctoral dissertation committees. Paul earned his B.S. in Computer Systems & Management from the University of Maryland. He also holds a M.S. in Management Information Systems and Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.
Michael Ross, MD
Dr. Michael Ross is Chief Medical Officer for RxAnte. He joins RxAnte after serving as Chief Medical Officer at NaviNet where he provided clinical direction and guidance to the teams developing solutions and services to assist healthcare professionals and plans in improving care delivery and quality. Prior to NaviNet, Dr. Ross served as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Business Development at Pragmatics and Vice President of Healthcare at Varolii Corp. His business career spans a variety of executive positions in the areas of strategic business and medical affairs. During his clinical career, Dr. Ross managed one of the most successful pediatric practices in Washington D.C. and for three years was named one of the Top Doctors in Washington in peer reviews for Washingtonian magazine. Dr. Ross received his Bachelor of Science and medical degrees from George Washington University, and his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Medical College of Virginia. He received his certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
